Dr. Victoroff is a Harvard trained, triple board certified neurologist, neuropsychiatrist, and psychiatrist. He serves as Associate Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He is the author of many peer-reviewed scientific articles, and the principal author and editor of Concussion and Traumatic Encephalopathy (Cambridge University Press, 2019). He was selected by the Surgeon General to be one of the founding neurologists of the NFL Neurologic Care Program. Dr. Victoroff has served as an expert witness for 25 years, testifying in 45 depositions and 19 trials. He has been qualified by Municipal, State, and Federal courts to testify in all aspects of neurology and psychiatry. His subspecialty expertise is in traumatic brain injury, although he has also testified in cases of dementia, stroke, epilepsy, neurorehabilitation, PTSD, aggression and violence, testamentary capacity, competence to stand trial, undue influence, and other neuropsychiatric disorders. His civil consultations have been 60% for the defense, 40% for the plaintiff. Dr. Victoroff's international reputation, impartiality, and forensic experience have enabled productive consultations with more than 150 retaining attorneys and firms.
